  1. I made my still life composition a straight line at an odd angle. I thought photographing and edible item was extremely difficult, and the only way I could add any interest to the shot--in my opinion--was a strange angle.

  2. My still life composition is centered towards the left because I like the idea of open spaces in a photograph and I think it's interesting for the eye to move around the edges of an image instead of the center.

  3. My photo has a diagonal line that draws your eye from the bottom right into the center of the photo where the main source of color is. I framed the photo to be off centered and shot it at a low angle.

  4. My still life has both a horizontal and vertical pull to it. But I believe since the horizontal lines of the curtain are wider and deeper, along with the candle being horizontal makes it lead the eye in a horizontal direction. It is also almost triangular when you look at the the reflective light on the holder along with the base.

  5. My photo is a pond so its circular so your eyes go from the middle of the pond and work you way around to see whats on the outskirts of that pond.

  6. My still live is a straight line. It trails along a line of bottles into the background.

  7. My still like was centered and at a slight angle. This was the hardest thing to shoot because it was hard to find the appropriate angle to get an interest in the shot. Not my favorite...

  8. Believe it or not but my still life is triangular. (The Shoe) The eye will usually start at the top rear portion of the heal, follow the line down the top of the shoe down to the toe, follow the bottom line to the heal, follow the heal back up to the top of the back of the shoe, thus forming the triangle.
