  1. My team chose to work separately so we could have more product to choose from in the end. We had intentions of coming together and bringing our ideas together as one, but it just didn't work out that way. I chose to do a very elaborate, classic, dignified design. Being a senior myself, I know my friends would want to be recognized with the upmost respect. This is a big deal for those whom are being recognized. I wanted to treat the event as exactly that. Being that I chose an elaborate design, I did enjoy seeing others' designs that were very simple.

  2. Like Ashlee said our team worked separately. I chose to use a design that was more simplistic. It had the uniform "flair" throughout it, but still looked minimal. I wanted to use purple in the brochure, however the color they wanted wasn't the greatest, so I just brought the opacity down on a purple I liked. The down side of my brochure is that it looks a bit feminine.
I really loved Ashlee's design. Her's was probably my favorite out of them all. She used a variety of elements in hers that just made it look great. The colors she chose looked good together, the pictures made the brochure.

  3. Well, I my feelings are pretty straightforward. Less is more with this sort of thing. People get confused with clutter, so neat and tidy is the way to be! My own team had a good design. Thats because it is uncluttered and uses simplicity to its advantage!

Our mockup was simple and likely effective, but more than likely didn't meet the "prettiness" standard. understandable. Ashlee's design was both of these things.

I like that she can take so many elements and put them together so well. i have a stronger "simple" style than a really decorative one.
