Blog 7: Due
Wednesday, Feb.29th –
1. What is your favorite part of designing a
website? Why?
2. Which Website do you think is visual pleasing and why? Does contrast have a play?
Grasping a visual style and designing an interesting website based upon that is very enjoyable to me. There are plenty of websites that just have endearing styles to them. My personal pick would be web design 1. The layout is very stylish, simplistic and minimalistic while maintaining a professional feel.
When it comes to designing websites my favorite part is probably working on making it visually pleasing. I would say both websites are visually pleasing just in different ways. It depends on what interests you. One is more fasion forward and the other is more graphically interesting.
(sara ford) i like the creative aspect to designing a website. the fact that it's not a "2d" field (in that you can click to navigate "deeper" into the site) is interesting.
i like that there are many ways to design a site, depending on what it will be used for.
the first site is more appealing. the second is neat and low-key, but lacks interest in terms of color. the first one is simple but also has something to provide visual interest (the color)
