  1. I think ingenuity would have to be the most valuable lesson learned. In a class where supplies were stolen and we didn't have access to the building, it was difficult to want to press forward, but we did, and we made clever use of what we had. In life, we don't always have to exact supplies we need, but we make it work.

  2. One thing that I learned is that using all the Elements of Art help to make your piece much more appealing. This will help me in my major, Advertising, by allowing me to make promotions that are more pleasing to the eye for customers.

  3. I completely agree with Chase. I learned that in regards to art, sometimes all you are given is a piece of paper and a colored pencil and you have to "make it work". When looking at art now, I think about the elements that are involved - line, shape, space, color, etc. and can form an opinion on the piece and have the terminology to defend why I do or do not like it.

Thank you, Ms. Heather for working with us and allowing us to create art that we're proud of!

  4. I also agree with Chase. We had to learn to have patience and make due with what we have. In education, this is invaluable. Budgets are forever getting cut, and teachers have to make due with what they have.

    Thanks
