1. In redesigning your
cards, why did you pick the design elements that you used?
2. What influenced you
to chose those design elements?
In designing the cards, I am drawn to clean aesthetic lines that are simple but make a statement. I like how simplicity works off of the small space of the card and I am drawn to design elements that enhance appearance without detracting from function.
As the resident minimalist, I have to say less is more with my card design. I like bold, clean lines and sharp text. I believe that--by saying less--you actually have an uncanny ability to say so much more. Chase Durrance
I like extraordinary designs that wouldn't normally be thought about or at least put to work. Definitely would make parts contrast important parts to the extreme and stand out from the clean white space. Brandon Harper
In designing the cards I wOuld like more of a gaffitti type look Bc to me it would stand out and be abstract Very moving and draw your eyes Shiven Harris
In redesigning my cards, I used a lot of pattern and color. Pattern appeals to me because there are alot of design elements that are included and you can always be unique with it.

When designing the cards I tried to be inventive. I wanted to keep the design fairly simple but fun. I used color to make the shapes pop.

I wanted to create a pretty picture. Art Nouveau and similar styles influenced me.

In designing the cards I wanted a simple picture. I used dark thick lines to make my work stand out against a light background.
