GD III Blog 3

Post a link to a simple site. What design elements make it work for a simple site? Is the navigation nicely executed?

This website is easy to follow. There is a nice place to the right with all the links so you know where you are going. To the left is the meat of the site, each category is headed with a large bole type, followed under that by a description and a download link. Simple and effective, what more do you need.

  2. http://jonnyetc.prosite.com/18213/home is a simple website that allows the viewer to look at Jon Defreest's work. It's an online portfolio where everything is organized and the navigation is definitely executed well. The simple layout definitely lets your focus on his work over anything else.

  3. I love torrid.com. i get a lot of my clothes from there and it is super east to navigate! They keep it simple, yet functional. All of the links are easy to get to and find. The colors are appealing to the eye, and it is not a struggle to find customer service and account info. The navigation is what really makes this site work for me. Some sites are a mess, and have no order. This one is laid out well and very organized.

https://www.tumblr.com/ is easy to navigate, to me. if you have an account, the user-interface is simple to use too. there's not a lot of fluff to the site itself, and it's really straight forward.
